| Burgh Le Marsh W I: 2004 June - Cookery Demonstration |
| Midge Thomas, tutor at the W.I. Denman College, gave a cookery
demonstration at the Burgh W.I. meeting along with hints and tips and ending
with a delicious tasting session.
Midge is always a welcome favourite, sadly she is giving up the demonstrations this year to create more personal free time, but she will continue to be a guest speaker. Sylvia Blight gave the vote of thanks and presented Midge with a card and plant to mark her semi-retirement. |

Scrabble trophy won by Burgh members, Gladys Waite and Phyllis Hezzell
at the Marshwold Scrabble Tournament. Phyllis Hezzell accepted the trophy
on behalf of the Burgh team in the absence Gladys Waite. |
