President, June Smith, gave her delegate's report on the recent Autumn Council meeting at The Lawn, Lincoln. Gladys Waite's daughter, Sheila Croft, gave a vivid account of her experiences on her marathon bicycle ride in Cuba which raised money for Denman College . A break followed for plum bread and cheese supper and the harvest produce sale. The meeting then resumed with a fascinating nature talk by Barbara Allen entitled "Twitching, Splashing and Walking."
