The
Burgh W.I. Choir opened the December Christmas meeting with the carol
“Joy To The World”. Christmas card craft was demonstrated by Joy Taylor
who explained her various techniques and showed her vast collection
of implements and accessories which she has acquired over a period of
ten years and is still adding to her collection when she can't resist
the latest craft innovations.
A
delicious Christmas supper buffet and presents from Santa followed and
then committee members, Pamela Vessey and Margaret Williamson performed
a sketch and Sylvia Blight told intentionally corny jokes and ended
with a poem which she had composed entitled “Christmastime”
A
merry singalong concluded the evening's entertainment.
