President,
Pamela Vessey, welcomed members and visitors to the new season's meetings
and presented Brenda Venables, a long serving committee member, who
is moving from the area, with a leaving gift.

speakers Robin Leake and Fred Frost gave a presentation on autumn entitled
“Past & Present” with poetry and personal reminiscences of autumn,
illustrating each situation with ornamental items, adding the free raffle
prizes of flower arrangements and fruit, constructing a stunning tableau
centrepiece.
