At the first meeting after the summer break members enjoyed a talk given by Gerry Burrows, which was accompanied by slides. His subject was “Do you remember this?”

Which was the period of the 1940's and 1950's. Everyone enjoyed the evening, singing along to tunes from the period. Mr Burrows was thanked by Phyllis Hezzell.

The next meeting is on October 3 rd - speaker Barbara Allen on “Twitching, Splashing and Walking” with a Harvest Sale and an additional feature of Sheila Croft, daughter of our eldest member, Gladys Waite, will be relating her experience of her Cycle Ride in Cuba.
