Thank you cards were read out from fellow members who enjoyed the 90 th W.I. birthday celebration hosted by Burgh W.I. recently.

Burgh W.I. is to take up the “£10 Cheque Challenge” which has been set by county chairman, Jackie Cheetham, to all W.I.'s in the North Lincolnshire Federation. All W.I.'s agreeing to take up the challenge will receive a cheque for £10 with the aim of increasing the amount as much as possible to raise funds for the building alterations to the county office at W.I. House, Louth.

Audrey Chatterton gave her delegate's report on The Autumn Council Meeting held at The Lawn Lincoln with guest speaker, Steve Brookes, radio/television presenter of gardening programmes, who gave a humorous and informative talk on gardening tips using everyday household items.

Margaret Williamson auctioned the harvest produce and members enjoyed a fruit loaf and cheese supper.
