Marshwold Group of W.I.'s held their annual Spring Group Meeting on Wednesday 16 th May at Burgh W.I. Hall. Kevin Harrison, London Blue Badge Guide and Lincoln Green Badge Guide gave a slide presentation on Famous People from Lincolnshire spanning over 600 years, including King Henry IV,Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson, Dame Margaret Thatcher, Sir John Franklin, Sir John Smith of Willoughby , Navigator, Matthew Flinders and many more. His conversational style delivery made the factual packed programme very entertaining. The most enjoyable evening ended with a raffle and delicious plum loaf and cheese supper .
