Karen Atherton, Fitness Suites Manager from East Lindsey District Council, demonstrated various exercises for different parts of the body using an exercise rubber resistant band, and brought some for members to try out as well as giving advice and tips on general exercising and health care.

 

This month's meeting was the AGM and June Smith was voted in again as president. Audrey Chatterton, secretary, gave her annual report and Brenda Manning presented the financial report.

 

Members exhibited various items of intricate craftwork which was judged by Sally Hall who had also attended in her capacity of W.I. advisor to officiate at the AGM business.

In first place: Pamela Haines, 2nd Diane Garwood and 3rd Kotie Nason.

 

The annual bursary draw of £150.00 and two £12.00 awards for educational purposes were won by Cicely Fisher, Diane Garwood and Margaret Williamson respectively.
