On Saturday 18th September Burgh W.I. held a Lincolnshire Supper Evening with the entertainment provided by Mr Brian Dawson who performed traditional Lincolnshire songs played on his accordian.  Brian explained how he had acquired these songs many given to him by members of his audiences who remembered them from their childhood days and were able to recite them all these years later, and also told stories from his travels from all parts of Lincolnshire.

The evening was a great success and the supper of beef and ham salad, apple pie and cream followed by plum bread and chesse, coffee and after eight mints was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

A grand raffle and the National Anthem closed the most enjoyable evening.
