President, Pamela Vessey , welcomed members and visitors to the first meeting of 2005 which launched into action with a lively sing-a-long with guest artist, John Hollins, playing both keyboard and flute, to a varied repertoire.

 

Sylvia Blight read out the latest e-mail news from W.I. friends in Awhitu , New Zealand , and showed the photographs which had also been sent.

 

Margaret Williamson made delicious iced shortbread which had been made into an attractive three –d Christmas tree and was enjoyed in the coffee break.
