Acting president, June Smith, welcomed visitors, members and two new members to the Harvest Auction and Supper Evening.

 

Sylvia Blight gave her Delegate's Report on the Autumn Group Meeting at The Lawn Lincoln where WI members from

all the Lincolnshire North Federation Branches were entertained by the New Orleans Jazz Band.

The harvest auction followed briskly.

 

Guest speaker, Barbara Allen, expertly demonstrated boning and stuffing a chicken and entertained members with her amusing

personal life experiences. Phyllis Hezzlle gave the vote of thanks.

 

The evening concluded with a delicious harvest supper including the stuffed chicken (one Barbara had made earlier),

 buttered cheese scones and home made apple pie and cream.
