AWHITU WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

FEBRUARY 2007-     

What an enjoyable day we had, sun shining, sea calm and gentle,  making our way along the coast past all the bays on the south side of the Manakau Harbour in Jeff William's boat the ‘ Manukau Cat'. Crossing the harbour to Cornwallis (a little choppy then) to have our lunch. Re turning the way we came with Jeff giving a commentary all the way.

Twenty seven of us came on this trip, W.I .members, husbands and friends and what a different view of the bays from the sea.

We all agreed that it was a wonderful outing.

I want to encourage all readers to plan a trip on the Harbour with Jeff this summer .

As this will be my last report, we have sold our house and are moving out of the area, I wish you all happy days ahead, with Peace always , in this beautiful place. I know that I will miss it all.
