On
26 th May a new Mayor and Deputy Mayor were elected to serve for the
coming year.
The
new Mayor and Chairman of the Council is Cecil Smith. Cecil's wife,
June, becomes Mayoress. Cecil has been a Councillor for 3yrs, and
takes over from Alan Middleton, shown here offering his congratulations.
The
new Deputy Mayor and Vice Chairman of the Council is John Panton B.E.M.,
with John's wife, Irene, becoming Deputy Mayoress.
