At the Council Meeting held on Friday 11 th May 2007 the outgoing mayor, Cllr Cecil Smith performed the ceremony of the newly elected mayor and Chairman of the Council, Cllr John Panton, BEM

 

Cllr Paul Sykes gave a vote of thanks to Cllr Cecil Smith and his wife June for their mayoral year.

 

New councillors George Walker and Doug Newey were welcomed to Burgh Parish Council by Cllr Cecil Smith as outgoing mayor and Cllr John Panton, new mayor.
