Recreation Centre

The Burgh le Marsh Recreation Centre, opposite the Market Place was originally a school. After the school moved to Wainfleet Road in 1980, the building was eventually purchased as an annexe to the Village Hall which could no longer cope with demand. This purchase was due the efforts of former Councillor Charles Rawlinson and the Village Hall Committee. The premises were officially opened in 1986.
