The ‘Haven Lea' Pugs have been very busy recently dear readers, getting them into their Santa outfits was quite a feat, as one paw went into a jacket another one popped out, both Barry, Myself and the Pugs were rather puffed by the time they were ready to go, also waistlines seem to have mysteriously expanded too since the last time they wore them.

Off we went to a local hall where Keith's Rescue Dogs were holding their Christmas Fayre,  thankfully the weather was dry, it turned out to be quite an afternoon, we did the ‘Hug A Pug' 50p a ‘Hug' all for the Rescue Dogs,  queues of people were waiting, the Pugs thought it was great fun, all those ‘Hugs',  children were undecided which Pug to Hug so it ended up with Hugs All Round, they gave their hearts and  it was a huge success, the local paper was there and at the end of the afternoon thirty one pounds had been raised for the Dogs

Our baby Pug Sadie fell asleep in my arms.  Hugs are very tiring for a little Pug, the others were tired and were soon fast asleep on the journey home. 

 

At the moment they are having a well earned rest, next job will be to help them wrap their Christmas gifts for their friends,  scrunching the paper is a favorite game and it is amazing where the sellotape gets stuck, usually a Pug! 

There are many complaints and squeals as I try and extricate them and then I end up stuck as well, right I will sign off for now, they have just appeared one by one, now they can help to clear their toys away, it is difficult to see exactly what colour the carpet is at the moment, they are littered far and wide, we all at ‘Haven Lea' wish everyone a ‘Very Jolly Christmas' and we will be with you again soon.
