This lovely place is home to me,

It's where I always like to be,

A wonderful old Church, a Library too,

Tea rooms, a warm welcome awaits you,

A Baker's, a Fishmonger's, fish freshly caught from the sea,

Greengrocer and Petshop, a Windmill,

You can have tea,

The best Butcher's for miles around.

A Bowling Green ,

birds, squirrels, horses, lots of trees to be seen,

Two Grocery shops, a vital Post Office as well,

Two Hairdressers, a Playgroup, a Florist with flowers to sell,

Lots of places to eat and drink,

Wonderful menus to make you think,

Plenty of buses going everywhere,

Lovely walks and country air,

A School, a Doctors Surgery, everything we need,

An Estate Agent, a Garden Centre,

Oh yes indeed,

But best of all, the folks who smile and say “Hello”,

If you're a stranger, you won't be for long, you know.
