Burgh le Marsh near Skegness in Lincolnshire UK
Lincolnshire
It's a magical place, this Lincolnshire I call home.
I've made up my mind to never more roam.
It's difficult to say which is my favourite place.
I am fascinated by your enchanting face,
Land of wide-open spaces where I was born,
A stroll along our golden beach, in the early morn.
The windmills, the wolds, our fertile soil,
Our Lincolnshire folk, and their daily toil.
Somersby where Tennyson once walked the hills,
Lively towns, pretty villages where time has stood still.
From the fens to the sea, I know your worth,
There is no finer place on God's earth.
