“Hello everyone, Miss Tizzy here, Mum is very tired, has gone for a much needed rest so I have taken over. I say, I really am getting the hang of this computer thing, my paws are very dainty while Barney Russell is a fidget and Sophie is far too clumsy, I am perched, I have to say, rather precariously but here goes.
Well it has been all go here, Dad has been on holiday and in a D.I.Y. mood, as soon as the tape measure appears we just know that he is plotting something again. We now have decking. Dad was furiously sawing away, Mum looked out, remarked that it looked like a raft; all it needed was a pole in the middle and a sail! She then asked when we were due to sail, received a “look” and hastily went back indoors! We tried to be helpful, Dad said that we were getting in the way, jolly ungrateful we thought so we played a game of chase, scattering sawdust all around the garden, somehow it became stuck to us too and when we went indoors Mum sent us straight back out again to shake it off. Alright for Sophie and Barney, I ended up having a brush, very undignified; Mum said it looked as if my stuffing was bursting out, very funny. Have to say though the new decking is great, sunbathing and having a snooze, we can see forever now, keep an eye on everything going on, rather useful for Sophie too with her-um- little stumpy legs. Sophie is very sensitive about her legs or rather lack of them, she is so low down usually she doesn't see very much so it has given her quite a lift!

Mum's birthday too, what a carry on, we have been run off our paws, visitors to entertain, cakes that just had to be eaten, of course, Mum went and overdid it as usual and now we are keeping an eye on her, no easy task, she is a fidget just like Barney, he is sporting a new collar too and letting everyone know, we are getting quite fed up with it.
We have had lots of photos taken too and mine will come out best so more pics next time, that is if Dad has managed to catch us, he is so slow taking a picture we can't sit still all day. We saw a CAT, soon let it know who is in charge around here, didn't take a bit of notice though, it was in the field and we were on the decking, Mum said it sounded as if we had got our heads stuck the noise we were making, we were just being careful in case it had the idea to come into the garden.
Mum has now decided to have a “Snack” and you know what that means, better get into position ready, never know what might just come whizzing my way. I am about to fall off the chair too so it is goodbye from Mum and Dad and “woofs and waggytails” from the “Haven Lea Crewe” be back with you again soon.” |
