The open day, Sunday 10th April, was a great success with a constant stream of visitors from 11am through to 4.45pm.

Volunteers have worked hard cleaning, painting and refurbishing outbuildings which has made a tremendous difference.

The weather was beautiful and the turning sails of the mill cast moving shadows in the sunny Granary Tea Room.

Among the visitors were guests from the Lincolnshire Mills Group which includes Norfolk , Nottinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.

Various types of windmills were illustrated in the slide show presented by Graham Beaumont including one taken 25years ago when he visited our mill with a former Lincolnshire Mills Chairman, Jon Sass who was also attending our open day.
