Community Project Progress Report June 2007

A revised programme has been produced by the Contractor (Taylor Pearson) showing a completion date of the week commencing 17 th September 2007 which is the date originally planned. Every effort is being made to keep to this date so that the children's centre can plan their programme.

 

Work is progressing well on the multi-use room and the community tea room with services being installed. The brick work on the community tea room is growing by the day.

Some flooring is already installed in the main room and the damp proofing of the building is well under way.

 

The educational interpretation project is progressing under the guidance of the St Clements College and the Burgh Primary School .

The Burgh School is also involved in the production of a logo for the complex under the guidance of a local artist.

 

The temporary relocation of the community tea room to the bowls pavilion has been well received and it should not be too long before it can move into its new tea room. Thanks are due to the volunteers for their help.
