The Burgh Carnival Committee held a Grand Auction at the Village Hall on Saturday 29 th April. A twice yearly event, October and April, held to raise funds for the annual carnival, which will be on Saturday 1 st July this year themed as Children's Television Programmes.

 

Two years ago a Scarecrow Competition was introduced and has proved so popular that it has now become a traditional part of the carnival activities.
