| SKEGNESS, SPILSBY & CATS PROTECTION |
|
The local branch of the national charity Cats Protection in very active in your area. (Registered Charity No. 203644.) We cover the postcode areas: PE22, PE23, PE24, PE25 and LN13. Cats taken into care are all blood tested for transmissable diseases (feline leukaemia, feline HIV, feline enteritis etc.), treated for fleas and worms, innoculated and neutered/spayed. So the cats and kittens we offer for homing are healthy and looking to be a lovely companion and friend. We carry out home visits before placement and try to match the right cat/kitten to the right home.
Did you know that, in her lifetime, an unspayed female cat can be responsible for 20,000 offspring? Another important part of our work is to help with the cost of neutering/spaying wherever possible, by giving vouchers that cover a large part of the vet's bill. Our first priority is to help those on a pension, low income or benefits. For more information please contact 01 754 830 621 or email stablelodge@btinternet.com To help our fundraising we run a "200 Club" with a quarterly draw. For more information, contact our Treasurer on 01790 754224 or send an SAE to: Gail Rutherford, Rose Cottage, Northorpe Road, Halton Holegate, Spilsby, Lincs. Each number costs just £12 a year. We publish a quarterly Mewsletter to keep members up to date with what the BRanch has been doing. If you'd like to join, it only costs £5 a year. Contact our Membership Secretary, Charlotte Whiting, on 01 507 343 419 or email her on Charlotte.Whiting1@btinternet.com |
