S
t Peter's Church was the venue for The Louth Male Voice Choir
on Friday 11th April who performed at the invitatation from
The Burgh Forward Group as part of Burgh's cultural programme.
It was a very varied programme both in the repetoire and styles,
popular, gospel, barber shop harmony, and hymns, including
When All The Saint Come Marching In, What Shall We Do With The
Drunken Sailor, If I were A rich Man - from Fiddler on The Roof,
I'm Reviewing The Situation from Oliver, It's My Delight On
A Friday Night,The Day Thou Gavest, Lord Hast Ended, When I
Survey The Wondrous Cross, and a beautiful arrangement of Nessum
Dorma enchanced by the majesty of the Church setting.
A most enjoyable musical evening with a real community ambience.
