| Burgh Carnival |
| A popular event in the town has been the annual carnival. Flags, bunting and balloons fly high, whilst shop windows are decorated to create a colourful display. All age groups are catered for by a programme of events that runs through the week. The Burgh le Marsh Carnival parade of decorated floats and marching bands starts from the Market Place and goes right through the town. In previous years it went up by the Anglican Church, left down Wainfleet Road by the School and then on through the houses and bugalows to emerge at East End at the Bridge Chippie. The Procession then came again onto the High Street to turn up Jacksons Lane by the Methodist Church to Tinkers Green. |
